Exploring the Mullet’s Origin

I think it’s worth checking out this interesting piece from Sunday’s Boston Globe on how the word “Mullet” has been used throughout the history of our language. A decent word and a sometimes-decent look, this column expands on the “mullet strategy” that new websites use, and also investigates how Burt Reynolds and the Beastie Boys may have something to do with how we use the word today.
