… but building your very own Trojan horse is DECENT.
A fellow Community Member sent in some photos of a Trojan horse she built for the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s opening night at Tanglewood.
Since building a Trojan horse is the epitome of building in the form of decency; Decent Community has decided to hold its first annual Decent Community Trojan Horse Build-Off. We’re looking for young and aspiring builders, architects, artists and designers to compete in a no holds barred, winner takes all competition.
Only builders that are capable of competing at a very high level need apply. Winners will be chosen based on 1) ability to convey decency, 2) size of structure and, 3) complexity. The winning builder will have dinner with the Trojan Horse Guru (THG), who is responsible for the Trojan horse illustrated in this post, where they will be able to pick the Guru’s brain on Trojan horse building and may even be able to shake the hand of the THG. The winner will also be featured as the Decent Community’s Decent Bastard of the Week.
Please submit your sketches to decentcommunity@gmail.com for pre-registration.
Good luck!
