Wow! Its been a long and winding road for this great American actor. From his modest beginnings staring in Elvira, Mistress of the Dark in 1988 to the peak of his career as an original Gladiator on American Gladiators performing under the name Malibu, this decent son of a bitch has persevered through stereotypes that would keep an indecent man down, and thus, Deron McBee is out Decent Bastard of the Week.
**Deron McBee also plays Sylvio on the popular Decent Community blog (as picutred below).
Deron was nominated by Henry Hoffman-Scneider, a well known B-movie producer, President of the Deron McBee Fan Club and avid Decent Community reader. Mr. Hoffman-Sneider writes:
Dear Decent Community,
It is with great pleasure and admiration that I write to you today to nominate a long time friend to the small and elite club of Decent Community Bastards of the Week. Deron, Deron, Deron. What can I say about him that already hasn’t been said? What an amazing and talented individual. I first met Deron in a back alley casting call for my movie, The Killing Zone. Deron came walking through the fog and out of the dark like a Greek warrior. His Muscular frame, blond hair and tanned skin, were the first things to arouse my senses, but it was his stunning personality and sense of humor that kept me going back to his trailer after long days filming. Deron, if you’re out there, find me!
Always Missing Deron,
Henry Hoffman-Scneider.
Ummmmm, ok… I guess we’d like to thank Mr. Hoffman-Scneider for being so eerily forthcoming with his admiration of Deron McBee. Mr. Hoffman-Sneider’s nomination doesn’t exude some typical qualities that we look for in a Decent Bastard of the Week nomination, however, it is clear that Deron’s blond hair, tanned skin and sense of humor make him an amazingly decent bastard.
Most importantly, Deron is our Decent Bastard of the Week simply because he looks soo much like a lion.

I recently found a website where Deron is being interviewed and he is explaining his new Image Makers project. He really is a descent and nice guy.
