In this week’s Decent Community’s Rules of the Game we examine relationships. The tell tale rule of thumb to determine if you are in a good relationship can be summed up in two words: Jerry Springer.
The rule is simple, if you* are unsure about you satisfaction in your current relationship you should go on The Jerry Springer Show for advice, guidance and support. Jerry will find a creative way to exploit your faults turning your lover against you. Jerry will humiliate and shame you into an apology, which leads to a temporary acceptance of your lovers faults and a few months of an OK relationship before the shit hits the fan again and your relationship dissolves.
It should be noted that implementing this rule does not come without significant risks. You may get a chair thrown at you, punched by a crazy woman, your hair may get pulled out, you will most definitely end up nude on National TV and you will be yelled at by a bunch of crazy bastards in the audience. But, The Springer Show is the only true way to find out if you are in a successful relationship. Being on the Springer show is a one way ticket to a long hard look within.
* This rule is more successful if you are a lower class, minimally-educated individual OR if you are a criminal of some sort.
There’s also one pretty big bonus if you go on The Jerry Springer Show — you’ll get to meet Steve.
Jeeeaaaaaaaarrrrrrrr!
