Ah yes, the joys of summer reading. Waves gently crashing in the background, blue skies, and fruity cocktails. Decent Community would like to present our summer reading list for 2009. 3. With the rise of violence against gay people, the “don’t ask, don’t tell” military policy and the homophobic rhetoric of the right-wing, sometimes there doesn’t seem to be very much fun about gay and lesbian life. That is, until you read Mary Dugger’s The History of Lesbian Hair.

4. All the greatest hits are here: The Log Jam, The Glass Shard, The Deja Poo, The Hanging Chad… the list goes on. A floater? It’s probably due to a buildup of gas. Now think back on last night’s dinner, a burrito perhaps? Yep, also here.

5. Anyone who has spent more time than they care to admit in the garage will enjoy noted humorist Roger Welsch’s exploration of the do’s and dont’s of tractor restoration.
